Stress comes from the demands and pressures we experience each day. Long lines at the grocery store, rush hour traffic, a phone ringing nonstop, are all examples of things that can cause stress on a daily basis. When worries and anxiety become excessive, chances are you’ll trigger the stress response.
SO DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY  :D

Don't pretend to be someone you're not (My mask theory)

We've all been in this situation where we put on a mask to impress people by pretending to be someone we are not.  These masks are usually subconcious, they derive from the inner mind.  When a mind takes control it casues the ego to grow,  this causes one to feel like they have to do anything in their power to become better than everyone else, or to become like the other person.   This can be caused by the lack of confidence in ones self.  Other causes can be anything from jealousy to insecurity.

You were created to live on this physical plain along with billions of other beings, we are all unique and that is why you should never doubt who you are.  Many people are great at masking themselves.  You may not notice it all the time, but it occurs everywhere; college, work, even at home.  It is just the way we have been brought up to believe in society, dont be afraid to be yourself.

A way to prevent this subconcious mask from manifesting is to imagine yourself not as a physical entity, but picture yourself as being connected to everyone else in this planet.  We are all equal as energy beings.  There is no point striving to become someone when you are already there, you are already someone, be that someone!

Don't find too much pleasure in television

Television is a distraction, a good distraction it may seem, but realistically its just a temporary escape from reality.  I enjoy watching a bit of television in moderation, but i feel that it can really take control of a persons true self and way of living.  I know many people that emerse themselves in television shows using them as a daily ritual, sometimes spending 5+ hours a day in front of the box. 

I don't want to sound hypocritical so I will admit that I spend a small amount of time on the internet watching the odd few shows when I've nothing else to do.  However, I've drastically reduced the amount I spend sitiing in front of the telelvision is recent months. 

I've found life much more rewarding by reducing distractions such as television, computer games and anything else that can cause temporary pleasure but does not fullfil you as a being(distracts your mind from the now).  Try it for a week, you'll notice the difference!!

These are the list of DONT's that I believe can really help you out, once you are aware of them.
I feel that accepting that you are doing any of the following during a situation, you can release the negativeness of them, and thus change you way of living dramatically.

Acceptance is the key

  • Be Afraid
  • Give up
  • Be someone you're not
  • Take things for granted
  • Do what you don't belive is right
  • Miss out on an opportunity
  • Lose faith
  • Think negative thoughts
  • Be egotistic
  • Dont over think

In following the above, you can live a happier life.
There is so much more you can achieve from your existance here on this planet, you just need to get away from too many material possessions and reduce your ego because this is not who you really are.

Hi and thanks for visiting my blog. My goal in creating this blog is to express my opinions on how I feel one should live their lives to the full by reducing many bad habbits. I want to emphasise on self development and free thinking using my own experiences.
